Selling a product or service to Subscribers of the NORCAL MLS® Alliance

The NORCAL MLS® Alliance (the “NCMLSA”) now offers the ability to combine IDX data feeds. Please review the combined data authorization process below for details. For questions, see the FAQ or reach out using the Contact Form at the bottom of the page.

Definitons

Combined IDX: Any number of IDX listing datasets from MLSs in the NCMLSA. Some Combined IDX data feeds may not contain IDX listings from all NCMLSA MLSs if certain datasets are not licensed.

Transit: Means receiving a single combined data feed from one, or multiple MLSs with Combined IDX.

Co-Mingle: Means combining IDX data obtained using data feeds from each MLS separately.

Providing MLS: An MLS who provides a Transit data feed.

Contributing MLS: An MLS whose IDX data is included in a Transit feed or is providing a single data feed of their own data for Co-Mingle.

Authorization Form: The form signed by each Contributing MLS permitting the acquisition and/or use of Combined IDX data.

Facilitating MLS: The MLS referred to who initiates action within the NCMLSA to execute an Authorization Form for handling Combined IDX.

Combined Data Authorization Process for Vendors

You must have at least one active NCMLSA Subscriber utilizing your IDX Service(s).
Determine which MLS/Board IDX data set your client(s) desire. See the current NORCAL MLS® Alliance participating MLS's and Boards. It is not required to request and license all IDX data if not all is desired.
Complete the Data Request Form at the bottom of this page.
MLSs that are vetting or seeking their own agreements with you to authorize their data will reach out to begin their vetting and/or licensing process.
Facilitating MLS will distribute the NCMLSA Authorization Form to you and all Contributing MLSs.
Once the Authorization Form is fully executed, you will be authorized to combine IDX data for Contributing MLS’s Subscribers in accordance with the individual license agreements you have with each Contributing MLS,. You are responsible for keeping each agreement active and paying any required recurring licensing fees.
